Step 1
Welcome to this new tutorial on TIA Connect! This tutorial will guide you through starting TIA-Connect in interactive mode with the interface of the TIA Portal.
Step 2
When launching the application, it determines if a graphical interface is available. If no graphical interface is detected, the application offers to start the TIA Portal in Interactive (Graphical Interface) mode by clicking, within the next 5 seconds, on the O key of your keyboard.
Step 3
The interest lies in the ideal mode for live development: you see the code blocks being written before your eyes, the hardware configuring in real-time, and you keep control of the TIA Portal interface to visually validate each step of the automation process.
Step 4
I am now connected to the graphical interface of the Siemens TIA Portal software.
Step 5
You are now connected to the TIA Portal graphical interface and the TIA Portal instance is connected to its TIA Portal environment in interactive mode.
