وُلد T-IA-Connect من طموح واضح: كسر الحواجز التكنولوجية التي لا تزال تفصل في كثير من الأحيان عالم تطوير الويب المرن عن الهندسة الصناعية الصارمة. تم تصميم هذا المشروع كبوابة عالمية، حيث يقوم بتحويل واجهة برمجة تطبيقات Siemens Openness الأصلية، القوية ولكن المعقدة، إلى واجهة RESTful معيارية وسهلة الاستخدام. نحن نسمح للمطورين ومهندسي الأتمتة بالتفاعل مع TIA Portal عبر طلبات HTTP بسيطة، مما يجعل أتمتة المهام الهندسية متاحة لأي لغة برمجة حديثة، سواء كانت Python أو JavaScript أو PowerShell.
